Meet Cheri Hudgins, Founder of Time for the Talk
For more than 25 years, Cheri Hudgins has helped older adults, caregivers, and families navigate some of life's most important decisions. As a healthcare executive, educator, entrepreneur, and Chief Operating Officer of Rose of Sharon's Senior Villa in Chattanooga, she has guided hundreds of families through conversations about aging, caregiving, healthcare, finances, housing, and end-of-life planning. Through that experience, Cheri discovered that many families aren't unprepared because they don't care—they're unprepared because no one taught them what questions to ask.
That realization led her to create Time for the Talk, an educational movement dedicated to helping families have meaningful conversations before a crisis occurs. Through conferences, workshops, and practical resources, Cheri equips people to make informed decisions about healthcare wishes, caregiving plans, important documents, and other critical life matters. Her mission is simple: to help families move from reactive to proactive planning, creating greater clarity, confidence, and peace of mind for the future.
